What we publish
TipNGoal covers football and wider sport, including league and match news, player profiles, live scores and fixtures, and the results of lotto games popular with our readers in Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana.
Accuracy and sourcing
Every story we publish is held to the same standards:
- We rely on primary sources where possible, such as official club, league and federation statements, match officials' reports, and direct quotes from people involved.
- When we report something we have not confirmed ourselves, we say where it came from.
- Rumours and transfer speculation are labelled clearly as unconfirmed.
- Figures, dates, names and scorelines are checked before publication.
Original work
We write our own articles. We do not copy or rewrite other publishers' work, and we do not republish material without permission. Quotations are kept short and credited. Photos and graphics are either our own, licensed, or used with the owner's permission.
Live scores and lotto results
Live scores, fixtures and lotto results are compiled from data providers and the official publication of each draw. Because this data is automated, it can occasionally be delayed or contain errors. If a result matters to you, for example when checking a lotto ticket, always confirm it with the official operator.
Opinion and analysis
Match previews, analysis and player assessments are the writer's informed opinion and are presented as such. They are not guarantees of what will happen, and they are never financial or betting advice.
Independence and advertising
Advertisers and partners do not influence what we report or how we report it. Any paid or sponsored content is labelled. We do not accept payment to publish favourable coverage or to change a published result.
Gambling-related content

Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to know. Send the page address and the correction to support@tipngoal.com. We will review it promptly and, where a significant error was made, fix the article and add a note explaining what changed.
