239d agoTottenham Hotspur have moved quickly to steady the ship following the departure of Thomas Frank, verbally agreeing a deal with Croatian tactician to take over in North London. The club wasted little time in identifying their preferred successor, underlining their desire to avoid uncertainty ahead of a crucial period in the season. Talks progressed rapidly, and while formalities are still to be completed, an agreement in principle has now been reached.
Tudor arrives with a growing reputation across Europe, having managed in Serie A and Ligue 1. Known for his intense touchline presence and tactical flexibility, the former Croatian international favors an aggressive, high-pressing style combined with defensive structure.
His teams are often compact, disciplined, and dangerous in transition — qualities Spurs will hope can quickly bring balance and identity back to their performances.
The decision to act swiftly reflects Tottenham’s ambition to remain competitive domestically and in Europe.
After parting ways with Thomas , the club hierarchy prioritized a coach who could instill resilience and maximize the attacking talent already within the squad. Tudor’s experience working with both emerging players and established stars is seen as a key factor in the club’s choice, particularly as Spurs continue to build a squad capable of sustained success.
Supporters will now eagerly await official confirmation and the unveiling of their new head coach. If the deal is finalized as expected, Tudor will face the immediate task of rallying the dressing room and implementing his tactical philosophy. Tottenham’s swift action signals clear intent — and with Igor Tudor at the helm, a new chapter is set to begin at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
