KUBWA FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2026/2027 SEASON
Coach Martins — Diamond Stars Sporting FC
1. Coach Martins, how are you feeling ahead of this match?
It will be an exciting match against the home side. We are looking forward to the game and ready to compete.
2. You played in the league last season. What are your targets this season?
I believe every club playing in the league has the target of winning the tournament. Mine is no different. We want to compete seriously and fight for the available trophies.
3. You are playing away against HJUNT FC. What are you expecting from the match?
They are a good side that likes to score early goals and defend resolutely. I definitely want a win against them because we drew both legs against them last season. So, we know what to expect.
4. How has your team prepared for this match?
There are no special preparations for a team that was my first league match last season. Let’s just enjoy the game, play our football and have fun while competing.
5. Do you have injured or unavailable players?
To be honest, the players I have at my disposal have enough quality to get the necessary result. Injuries and unavailability are part of grassroots football, so we have to deal with them.
6. Which players should fans watch out for this season?
They should watch out for all the players. Every player has an important role to play in the team.
7. What can fans expect from Diamond Stars Sporting FC this season?
They should expect us to always fight for every available trophy and play a beautiful brand of football. We want to entertain the fans while competing for success.
