Thanks to a commanding 3–1 victory in the first leg, the Gunners progressed 3–2 on aggregate, keeping their title defence alive.
Chelsea entered the match with urgency, knowing they needed to overturn a two-goal deficit. They pressed aggressively from the start, but Arsenal remained organized and difficult to break down.
Goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar played a crucial role, delivering several important saves to frustrate the hosts and preserve Arsenal’s aggregate lead.
The pressure from Chelsea intensified as the game went on, with the home side pushing numbers forward in search of goals. Their breakthrough eventually came late in the match when Sjoeke Nüsken found the back of the net, giving Chelsea a glimmer of hope for a comeback.
However, the goal proved to be too little, too late. Arsenal held their composure in the closing stages to see out the result and secure progression. While Chelsea exit the competition after a spirited effort, Arsenal move one step closer to retaining their European crown.
