Neither side was able to find the breakthrough as both defences remained resolute throughout the contest. The result sees the two teams settle for a point each in what was a closely contested Matchday 3 fixture.
The draw extends Kano Pillars’ unbeaten run, with the Sai Masu Gida having entered the match with two wins and four draws from their previous six matches. Shooting Stars, meanwhile, came into the fixture after a 0–0 draw against Nasarawa United and were looking to return to winning ways.
For Shooting Stars, the result means another home fixture without defeat, while Kano Pillars continue their impressive consistency early in the campaign.
The two clubs had also met earlier in 2026, with Shooting Stars recording a 2–1 victory over Kano Pillars on March 1.
