KUBWA FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2025/2026 POST-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCE Bonez FC 1–0 Hjunt FC Coach Samdada — Hjunt FC Coach Samdada’s Answers 1. Coach Samdada, Hjunt FC suffered a narrow 0–1 defeat today. How would you assess your team’s overall performance? I think the boys gave a good account of themselves. It was a very competitive game, and we stayed in the match until the end. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the result we wanted. We created some opportunities, but we didn’t make enough of them count. 2. The game was decided by a single goal. What do you feel went wrong for Hjunt FC in the match? I think the main problem was our decision-making in some important moments. We gave Bonez an opportunity, and they took it. In a tight game like this, one small mistake can decide everything. 3. Your team had moments where you looked dangerous going forward. What was missing in the final third? We needed to be more composed. We got into some good positions, but the final pass and the finishing were not at the level we wanted. That is something we have to improve. 4. How disappointed are you with the result, considering how closely contested the match was? Of course I’m disappointed because we came here looking for points. But I’m not disappointed with the effort from the players. They fought until the final whistle, and we have to learn from this. 5. Bonez FC managed to keep another clean sheet. What difficulties did their defensive organisation create for your attackers? They defended well and stayed organised. They made it difficult for us to find space around their box. We needed to move the ball quicker and make better runs behind their defence. 6. Despite the defeat, you conceded only once. How pleased were you with the defensive performance? I’m relatively pleased with the defence. We conceded only one goal, and the defenders worked hard. But football is about the whole team, so we have to improve defensively and offensively together. 7. What did you tell the players after conceding the goal, and how did you try to get them back into the game? I told them not to lose their heads. There was still enough time to come back, so we tried to push forward and create chances. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the equaliser. 8. What are the main areas you will be working on in training before your next league match? Definitely our finishing, final passes and decision-making in the attacking third. We also need to work on concentration because one moment can cost you a match. 9. How important will it be for the players to respond positively to this defeat and maintain their confidence? It’s very important. We cannot allow one defeat to affect the confidence of the team. The season is still long, and we have many matches ahead of us. 10. What does Hjunt FC need to improve to turn competitive performances into points? We need to be more clinical. When you get opportunities, you have to take them. We are competing well, but now we need to turn those good performances into results. 11. What is your message to the Hjunt FC supporters after today’s result? I want to thank them for their support. We know they want results, and so do we. We will keep working hard and try to give them something to celebrate in the next game. 12. Finally, looking ahead to the next match, what can the fans expect from Hjunt FC? They can expect a team that will fight. We will analyse this match, correct our mistakes and come back stronger. We respect every opponent, but we will always go into the next match believing we can get the three points.
