48d agoSuper Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie is back in the Nigeria Premier Football League, with the 26-year-old shot-stopper rejoining Bendel Insurance.
Obasogie left the Benin-based club in 2024 for a move to Ethiopia, where he continued his football career abroad. Two years later, he has returned to familiar territory after agreeing to a one-year deal with Bendel Insurance.
The goalkeeper's return comes as a boost for the club, with his experience expected to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Obasogie's performances could also put him back in contention for the Super Eagles, with Nigeria expected to return to action in Uyo next month.
After spending the past two years abroad, the goalkeeper now has a fresh opportunity to make his mark in the NPFL once again — and potentially earn another call-up to the national team.
Back home. Back in the NPFL. And chasing the Super Eagles dream once again.
