203d agoEverton delivered a statement performance as they cruised to a convincing 3-0 victory over Chelsea in their Premier League encounter on March 21, 2026. In front of their home supporters, the Toffees were in complete control for much of the game, showing intensity, organization, and clinical finishing.
The emphatic win strengthens their push toward European qualification and highlights their impressive recent form.
The hosts took the lead in the 33rd minute through Beto, who finished confidently after being picked out by James Garner.
Everton looked the more dangerous side throughout the opening half, pressing high and creating better chances, while Chelsea struggled to build any real attacking momentum. Jordan Pickford was alert when called upon, making a couple of important saves to keep the visitors at bay before the break.
Everton carried their dominance into the second half and doubled their advantage just after the hour mark.
Beto grabbed his second of the match with a composed finish, slotting the ball past Robert Sánchez to give the home side a comfortable cushion. Chelsea, lacking cohesion and creativity, found it difficult to respond as Everton’s midfield dictated the tempo of the game.
The result was put beyond doubt in the 76th minute when Iliman Ndiaye produced a superb curling effort to make it 3-0. Everton’s defense remained solid throughout, ensuring Pickford secured a well-deserved clean sheet. The victory was a complete team performance, with every department contributing to a dominant display.
For Chelsea, the loss adds to a worrying run of poor results, exposing ongoing issues in both attack and defense. Everton, on the other hand, continue to build momentum at a crucial stage of the season, with this win serving as a clear signal of their ambition to finish in the European places.
