🎙️ KUBWA FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2025/2026 🏆 POST-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCE HJUNT FC 1–2 Diamond Star Sporting FC Coach Samdada — HJUNT FC 1. Coach Samdada, your team went two goals down before pulling one back. How do you assess the overall performance? We went two goals down from two chances, and it was a bitter pill to swallow because we were in control of the game. Overall, I think our performance was good, but football can be cruel sometimes. 2. What do you think went wrong in the opening stages of the match? We switched off twice, and they scored two goals. We lost concentration at crucial moments and were punished for it. 3. After going 2–0 down, what did you tell the players to help them fight back? We have quality players who are capable of fighting back. Even after we missed the penalty, we kept believing. Unfortunately, today was just not our day. 4. Your team managed to score one goal. Did you believe you could complete the comeback? Yes, I believed in this talented group of players. We had a bad day, but I still believed they could fight back. 5. What was missing from HJUNT FC today that could have helped you get a point or all three points? I can’t really say we were missing anything because we threw everything at them. Their goalkeeper also had a very good game and made important saves. 6. How satisfied are you with the character your players showed after going two goals behind? I’m happy with our performance and the character we showed today. It’s just unfortunate that we lost the match. 7. What needs to improve before your next league match? Our scoring ability needs to improve. If we had converted our chances in the first half, maybe we could have had a different result. We have to be more clinical in front of goal.
