KUBWA FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2025/2026 PRE-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCE Sporting FA vs Uzum FC Coach Sunday — Sporting FA 1. How would you assess the opening performance? The performance was good. We played well, but there are still areas we need to improve. 2. What could you have done differently after taking the lead? After we took the lead, we lost focus a little and failed to convert some of our chances. We need to be more focused for the full 90 minutes. 3. How important is the first home match? Very, very important. We want to win because it’s our home ground, and we know the pitch better than our opponents. 4. How pleased are you with the young players? I’m pleased with them. They are learning, improving and becoming better with every game. 5. Does playing at home bring extra confidence or pressure? For me, it doesn’t change football. We just have to go out there and play our game. 6. What have you seen from Uzum FC? I see a team that is coming to play football and compete. We respect them, and we are preparing for the game. 7. What have you focused on in training? We’ve focused on every area where we need to improve, especially our concentration and finishing. 8. How important would a win be? Very, very important to me and my team. We want to start building momentum. 9. Any injury concerns? Yes, some players are injured, while some others have recovered. We’ll assess everyone before the game. 10. Will there be changes to the starting lineup? Yes, there will be some changes. Some players have improved, so we may make a few changes to the lineup. 11. Your message to the supporters? I just want them to be patient with the team and continue supporting us. We are improving, and we will give our best.
