๐๐๐๐๐: Brennan Johnson joins Crystal Palace!! ๐ต๐ด๐ฆ
Crystal Palace have secured the club-record signing of winger Brennan Johnson from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee believed to be around thirty-five million pounds. The Wales international has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and could make his debut for the Eagles this weekend.
Johnson, 24, moves after a season of limited opportunities at Tottenham, despite being their top scorer the previous campaign and scoring the winning goal in the UEFA Europa League final. His arrival is a significant early-window boost for manager Oliver Glasner, who highlighted Johnson's pace and goalscoring ability as key additions to the team's attack.
Johnson expressed his excitement about joining the club, stating he admired Palace and was happy to join their journey. His signing provides crucial support, especially with winger Ismaila Sarr away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
This transfer marks the third consecutive summer Tottenham have sold their top scorer from the previous season, following the departures of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane. Tottenham confirmed the deal and thanked Johnson for his contributions, which included over 100 appearances and 27 goals for the club.
